SVCE Customer Program Advisory Group

SVCE invites members of the public to apply to join the agency’s residential Customer Program Advisory Group

Interested in guiding clean energy program creation in your community? SVCE invites members of the public to apply to join the agency’s residential Customer Program Advisory Group (CPAG)! The committee was commissioned by SVCE’s Board of Directors and staff to gather community input throughout the customer program goal-setting and design process. SVCE is eager to return value to our customers through programs for demand management, efficiency, and fuel switching to clean electricity to replace fossil fuels used in transportation, buildings and infrastructure.

While local business or community involvement is welcome, it is not necessary that applicants have direct experience in either. Similarly, while SVCE seeks applicants with involvement in energy or environmental fields, or who have served on trade organizations related to SVCE’s carbon-free energy mission, such experience is also not required. CPAG members must reside in the SVCE service area: Campbell, Cupertino, Gilroy, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Los Gatos, Monte Sereno, Morgan Hill, Mountain View, Saratoga, Sunnyvale and unincorporated Santa Clara County. CPAG appointment recommendations will be presented by SVCE board members and staff at the public December 13 Board of Directors meeting.

The deadline to apply is November 17, 2017. Please contact Pamela Leonard, Community Outreach Manager, at Pamela.Leonard@svcleanenergy.org with any questions. Apply here!
