Spotlight

Sharp Development and Hillhouse Construction teamed up again with Integral Group to produce another zero net energy Class A office space, this time from a formerly-uninspiring 42,000 square foot building.

“Building on the success of our previous projects (435 Indio Way in Sunnyvale, 415 Mathilda Avenue in San Jose),  we wanted to prove the replicability of our zero net energy retrofit system, by turning another obsolete, GHG emission producing building into a modern, energy-efficient, all-electric office space for the same budget as a “traditional” retrofit.

“The project was not only successful,  but we also leased the entire building in record time, further increasing the financial savings.

“This latest project also garnered several awards and certifications, including Zero Net Energy, Zero Carbon + LEED Platinum Targets and the 2017 Structures Award in the Reuse/Rehab Category.”
