We’ve compiled a list of the most common upgrades with pricing to help you make an informed decision. Prices are effective as of February 2026 and may be subject to change at any time.

Your planned project must include a heat pump water heater or heat pump HVAC system to take advantage of these offerings.

PG&E may charge additional engineering and service upgrade fees, which are not included here and are disclosed as part of the permitting process. PG&E fees can vary from $3,000 to $20,000+ based on the project scope and can take up to 6-12+ months to complete. |
