Opt Out
Opting out means that you will pay more for electricity, and you will no longer be participating in a locally-owned clean energy program that supports our local community. 96% of your community receives clean electricity from SVCE.
If you are opting out of SVCE due to rate or cost concerns, we encourage you to please review our Understanding Your Bill page. It is important to learn more about the generation credit PG&E applies to your bill. Overall, SVCE costs less, and your power comes from clean and renewable sources. You may also contact our customer service team to walk you through your bill over the phone.
